The CR04A has a superb picture capability with up to 4 cameras being recorded at once. The Teklink CR04A shows real time live, and records up to 30FPS total with 1, 2, 3, or 4 cameras (1 camera 30fps, 2 cameras 15fps ea, 3 cameras 10fps ea ...) The picture quality is actually quite remarkable for an entry level DVR. An additional plus, is the hard drive mount internally which can help you add to your storage capability. (A side note:) Compare the cost of a Quad, VCR, and your time changing tapes or fast forwarding through to find and incident... The quad and tape will not give you the clarity of video you can get with this unit.
